- To identify and support completion and compliance with Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
- To work to promote risk awareness and a culture of openness throughout PUK so that IG is an integral part of daily work.
- To represent and act as lead advisor on all aspects of IG in the absence of the DPO.
- To respond to staff, patients and other professional bodies, requesting support and guidance and the establishment of an IG advice log.
- Support and assist the development and maturity of both the Information Asset Register and Record of Processing Activity and data flow mapping.
- To actively contribute to the formation each year of a TNA (Training Needs Analysis) and support with the delivery and design of appropriate courses.
