Remuneration: £34,000- plus £1000 working from home allowance
Contract Type: Permanent/Full time - 40hours per week
Location: Home-based/various UK meeting locations as required

The Procurement and Third-Party Assurance Officer provides comprehensive support across the full lifecycle of third-party and supplier engagements, ensuring timely and compliant onboarding, effective communication, and strong collaboration with internal teams and external partners. The role involves coordinating documentation, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate records while upholding regulatory, contractual and data protection standards. Contributing to risk assessment, supplier performance reviews, cost-saving opportunities, and incident management, requiring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
This is a home-based role (applicants must reside in the UK), though occasional travel may be required for face-to-face meetings at various locations within the UK.
As our Procurement and Third-Party Assurance Officer you will:
- Coordinate pre-engagement triage, supplier tiering and risk evaluation.
- Manage the end-to-end onboarding process with stakeholders, suppliers and third parties.
- Collect, verify and track essential onboarding documentation and credentials.
- Ensure compliance with procurement obligations, legislation, and sector regulations.
- Maintain supplier registers, onboarding dashboards and supporting systems.
- Facilitate contract and KPI reviews, escalating risks where needed.
- Support data, financial, IT, and governance teams through strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Assist with risk assessments, incident management and identifying procurement efficiencies.
To succeed as our Procurement and Third-Party Assurance Officer, you will be:
Confident working independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team. You will have strong communication and problem-solving abilities, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and be capable of managing competing priorities to meet deadlines.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge and experience of due diligence processes, preferably in a third-party vendor management environment or related field.
- Experience of producing dashboards, trends and analytics.
- Ability to use a variety of MS Officer 365 applications.
Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Project Management Experience
- Experience working in a healthcare setting
